Larix Screencaster is a free application for Android capable of streaming screen content in real time to any destination which supports RTSP and RTMP publishing of H.264/AAC stream over TCP. The application was successfully tested with Nimble Streamer and Wowza Streaming Engine™ as well as YouTube™ live streaming.
Larix Screencaster runs in background and can be controlled from notification area.

Larix Screencaster has the following features:

  1. Streaming live video content to specified media server using the RTSP or RTMP protocol.
  2. Audio can be captured from device' microphone.
  3. Basic and Digest RTSP and RTMP authentication methods support. The application chooses appropriate method depending on target media server capabilities.
  4. Ability to select screen video resolution.
  5. Recording to MP4.
  6. Low latency of produced stream.
  7. Free of charge usage.
  8. Android 5.0 or later.

Larix Screencaster is based on Mobile Broadcasting Library - a separate commercial product provided by our company for mobile application developers.
It has Screencaster application source code along with binary streaming library.
