stream to vimeo live?

I'm trying to republish a multicast UDP stream to vimeo live, but vimeo does not seem to recognize/notice the incoming stream. I'm using the RTMP url rtmp://rtmp-global.cloud.vimeo.com/ , application name live and the stream key as specified in the vimeo event.

Anyone successfully done this?

Are you able to setup stream to Vimeo using some other program - OBS studio, for example?

My problem seems to be that the original stream does not contain enough information about the various stream parts, especially the audio.

I will probably need to consider transcoding.

did you get this working, I'm having the same issue with Vimeo.
Have tried SRT to RTMP, RTMP to RTMP and even a transcoded stream, but Vimeo is just flat out rejecting everything via nimble. but I can stream straight from vmix to vimeo no issue. very strange.

What exactly protocol have you used for streaming from vMix and does the stream (compared to Nimble) has the same parameters?

Vimeo support are a bit stumped.

I can stream directly to Vimeo from vmix fine using custom rtmp. It if I then point vmix at nimble and then republish the same stream to Vimeo via nimble. Vimeo just refuses to accept it.

I found a reddit thread where a fee other people were having the same issue with nimble with various suggestions including turning on interleaving but none of their suggestions have worked.

It never worked for me. I ended up using a completely different solution.

Interleaving compensation likely won't help there.

Nimble 3.7.13-1 contains the fix to support publishing to Vimeo.
