rule.conf file encording problem

Jaejoon Jung 2015-10-30 02:21:58 UTC in Nimble Streamer

My system is recording video from cam and store video files in folder named by date.
So I restart nimble after add new route path into rule.conf. But stream is failed.

When I checked rule.conf format, it's right.

I found generated rule.conf file encording is DOS UTF-8, I open thr file using Ultra Edit tool.
(nimble is running on windows and I made code that generate rule.conf with visual studio).
This case is fail to streaming.

I had tested, open the rule.conf file using wordpad in windows and ctlr+s for save, I didn't edit abything, just save the file.
And then restart nimble. It works well.

I check saved rul.conf file encording is DOS ANSI/OEM

Can you recommend rule.conf file encording format for windows.

I hope your help.

Thank you

Nimble supports DOS ANSI/OEM as well.
check resulting json validity. check Nimble logs.
Consider to have paid support in case you are planning to rely on Nimble streamer to have any sort of support.
Our team time is not free for our company owners. What'd you say if I ask you do something for free many times ?
