nimble dvr streaming

goal, to have dvr stream working on external players in addition to the web players offered here.

so from what I am reading there is a way to convert the saved dvr files into a flat file for play back how ever is there away to do this on the fly and keep adding the new live clips to the current clip, i understand this will cause an additional delay and probably some processor power but that is fine. I am just wondering if it is even possible?

we'll add this functionality for Nimble but for now you can use ffmpeg and get any live stream you want, save it into mp4 or another formats. This task not related to dvr if you need to have save mp4 files from the source all the time. You just need to run ffmpeg and feed it with stream you need. Please check ffmpeg documentation.

Thanks for the reply, ive decided to hold off on going further on this for now how ever I am trying to get the jwplayer working. On my http server when jwplayer loads it says Error Loading Player: No playable sources found, yet everything works great with the jw player preview. has this been an issue in the past? Thanks
