failover doesn't work at start of playback

origin1 (channel X is not online)
origin 2 (channel X is online)
edge server app pulls from origin1 with origin2 as failover.
viewer tries to view but playback does not start if primary stream not available.
refresh page and playback starts,
rtmp_buffer_items 4096 is set on both origins.
should failover only work if primary stream goes offline during viewing? or should it happen at the start of playback also?

You probably setup pull with "idle time" or "dynamic stream name"?
Please support ticket via wmspanel.com/help and specify server name and playback url there

yes dynamic stream name and idle time, as I have 70 channels.
Will it not work with these enabled?
