Is there a step I might be missing in allowing an RTMP publisher to connect to Nimble Streamer from another machine? I've now tried running the server on three different machines (including one in Azure using the Marketplace image) and can't get AFME to connect to any of them unless it's on the same computer running Nimble Streamer.

As far as I can tell there should be no firewall interference, but I still can't even get to a login prompt, whether I use an internal IP, external IP, or computer name. I also don't see anything indicating activity of any kind in nimble.log at the time I am trying to connect.

Is there something I might have missed?

Apparently there was still some firewall rule in operation someplace. After a series of steps that seemed like they ought to be completely redundant and unnecessary, I got it working against the Azure publish target. This will work for me for now, so you can consider this closed. Thank you!
