Push to Akamai entry point

Hello just wondering if it is possible to push to Akamai entry point from your software? We currently use Akamai as our cdn and we'd like to use your software for relaying some of our streams. Example of a akamai entry point would be rtmp://user:pass@akamai etc now from what I've see from playing around with the panel so far is that if you push a stream to rtmp it does not give you the option to enter user and pass is this correct? Please advise also is there an ETA on your Transcoding functionality?

Hello,

As far as we know, Akamai requires special certification to allow any software to publish stream to them. We haven't completed that yet.

As for transcoder - it's planned for mid-May, stay tuned for news and updates in our social networks.

Unfortunately we don't have any ETA for this kind of functionality. You could use Wowza specifically for publishing to Akamai while using Nimble for the rest of operations.
