Nimble Streamer Network Egress

Hello,
I have noted Nimble Streamer has some time of Network Egress that grows linear with the amount of Streams/DVR. I cannot understand why it needs to send this great amount of data and what is its target destiny. I am sure that this egress is not related with Streaming/DVR consumption from Nimble. What I mean is, when Nimble Streamer is just processing and saving data (idle), there is still a lot of network egress. What is this for? Is there some way to reduce/remove it?
