I am trying to broadcast from samsung phone get unknown connection errror HELP ME

debbie 2017-05-24 22:48:34 UTC in WMSPanel functionality

the camera when trying to broadcast shows unknown connection failure. I put in the rtmp link exactly, and this gives me a unknown connection error. I am not very tech savvy, so please keep this simple for me. I set the connection, put in the rtmp link, then sign in and password, which I used my tikilive sign in and password, I hope that is what it was asking for, as that is how I put it in when creating a connection.

Hello,

Please contact us via https://wmspanel.com/help and provide full URL which you try to use and give more details like device model and OS version.

Thank you.

I am having the same issue. I have been able to figure out with a friend running this on ios that he is using "default (no authorization)" for login while I am not given that option.
Is this a needed update to the andriod app?

Hello, James.
If you don't see Login and Passwords fields on Android's version of Larix Broadcaster means Connection setting are made without authorization. If you need them, make a new connection. If you don't need them, use Default and do not fill Login and Password fields.
Use the following video as reference:

Updating an app is always a good idea, but this won't help for showing the No Authorisation string. (I will pass this on to developers, btw)

If you can't connect to your target via RTMP, make sure you ingest point reachable from your mobile device. (e.g. mobile uses the same LAN as your server)

Thank you.

Hi Sergei,
Thank you - I followed the video last night. I am using RTMP and it won't let me chose default.
An update, my friend tried it last night from IOs and it wouldn't go live for him either.

If both devices can't connect to the same publishing point, the options are that something wrong with the publish point setup or your mobile connectivity with that publish point.
That's quite hard to give you any advice, as your setup of publish point, devices, and your network may vary drastically and needs checking on-site.
