How to use the web-server of nimble

Anthony_OS 2016-11-29 15:51:53 UTC in Nimble Streamer

Hello,

I'm trying to create a web page for managing VOD content "local mp4 transcode to hls", the script simply lets the user to upload a video via an url or a local file.

It's working great, but it need an nginx(+php) web server listening on port 8080 to be working, so, my question is, can i use the nimble's web server to execute this php script ?

Thank you.

Hi,
no you cannot. Nimble is not general purpose web server and it cannot be used for just tasks. You need to use both in your case

Dear Alex,

Thank you, i understand, i think the best solution is to assign 2 public IP adresses who's listening both on port 80 and 443.

i will try ;)

Have a good day.
