How to create url alias (mod_rewrite)

Lex Sanchez 2015-09-11 22:32:34 UTC in Nimble Streamer

Hi

Currently to play a video streamer nimble I place the url
http://www.domain.com/videos/2015/09/11/MEDVID20150911_0051/smil:video.smil/playlist.m3u8

And we want to shorten the URL using alias as follows.
http://www.domain.com/video/MEDVID20150911_0051/smil:video.smil/playslist.m3u8

Hi Andrey

I do not see in this post how to put this rule

RewriteRule ^/medvideo/videofile/(\w{3})(\w{3})(\d{4})(\d{2})(\d{2})_(\d{4})/(.+)$ /fileContent/$1/contents/$3/$4/$5/$2/$1$2$3$4$5_$6/medias/$7

You will have some other more detailed documentation

At present time Nimble does not support using regexp to create aliases.
i.e. Alices in Nimble is regular expressions, but Nimble can not change the URL using way, that you asked about.
