Till now i was using direct IP based links at my project. but i was to use the streams with my sub-domain, so how ca i add a domain to this nimble streamer. however i tried pointing domain to server IP and adding domain in server settings of wms panel, but no luck.

You can't simply register domain name with WMSPanel or config files - this custom domain names just add it to URL list for outgoing streams and nothing more.
You should buy domain name at some hosting provider - Verisign, HostGator etc.

Could you tell what is not work exactly? If you're configured DNS to make domain name matching nimble IP (so that "nslookup" would return nimble's IP), it should work.

I tested again. It works when nslookup would return nimble's IP. But when the domain is behind cloudflare it not works. Do you have a solution for this?

Cloudflare can work with limited set of ports, so if you're using default 8081 port on Nimble - it will not work. Please change "port" setting in /etc/nimble/nimble.conf to one listed in this article:
