HTTP origin - session ID's in the chunks m3u8?

I have setup an alias for live_stream, naming it live_stream_cdn
I then setup live_stream_cdn as an HTTP origin.
Going to zone.mycden.com/live_stream_cdn/live/playlist.m3u8, the resultant manifest points to /live_stream/resolution/chunks.m3u8 (not livestream_cdn). No session ID's are present.
Opening the chunks.m3u8, I get session ID's like l_28_268471463_44745.ts?nimblesessionid=1867
Questions...
1) Should the manifest point to chunks.m3u8 live_stream as it does, instead of live_stream_cdn?
2) Should there be session ID's for the ts files in chunks.m3u8? I wouldn't think so, but maybe I'm wrong.
