Codec not recognized bug

Pepijn 2015-12-19 18:38:12 UTC in Nimble Streamer

Hello,

While pulling an RTMP stream to restream it to HLS I got a problem. Nimble doesn't recognize the codec of the stream.

Clappr (HLS player used on our website) still plays the stream but the stream doesn't play on iOS/tvOS/Android/Chromecast. This confirms that the stream isn't corrupt.

Restarting the server doesn't change anything. The log /var/log/nimble.log also doesn't mention the stream or mentions anything that could have anything to do with it.

The playlist.m3u8 for this stream contains this line:
#EXT-X-STREAM-INF:BANDWIDTH=799083,RESOLUTION=800x480,CODECS="avc1.000000"

As far as I know avc1.000000 isn't valid.
Other streams work fine and don't have "avc1.000000" in their playlist.m3u8.

Can you help me?

Thank you!

I forgot to say that the stream worked a few days ago on all devices.

Thank you.

Hello,

Please give us an url of that stream or url of a source RTMP stream so that we could reproduce this issue.

If you don't want to disclose it to public please send it to help@wmspanel.com.

Thank you.
