Best method to send streaming to nimble streamer server

Stephen Chan 2019-07-12 02:40:25 UTC in Nimble Streamer

Hi Team,

We have a CentOS 7 Linux server with audio input and we are looking for a method sending a stable audio stream to nimble server.
We tried ffmpeg RTSP to nimble server and found that RTSP failover will have some HLS playback glitch issue for each chunks.
Is there any alternative method can archive our purpose?

Proposed setup should work fine.
What player is used you to reproduce this problem ?
If it's vlc you can try to set "Protocols HLS HLS (MPEGTS)" in protocol settings for your application.
If this will not help - please start support ticket via https://wmspanel.com/help and describe your case with more details: provide url to reproduce the issue, name your player, explain what do you mean by "RTSP failover".

Hi Alex,

We are using 28k AAC for low bandwidth consumption.
We already create a ticket for this issue, just want to see any alternative method that we can try.

Thanks.
