Transcoder - Wildcard not working

Rob 2021-03-05 10:02:45 UTC in WMSPanel functionality

when following this guide exactly ->

I am given the error notification
"Save failed. Audio pipeline #1: Filter chain has multistream output, but it doesn't have multistream input. Please adjust output in row 2."

This is using app name with * for decode and {stream}_output in the encoder. As in the guide above,

Please advise.

Appears to work with the passthrough 'blocks' just not the normal ones in the transcoder as referenced in your documentation/link given above?

Sussed it - you leave the field blank to get a wildcard you do not put the * in the field!

Ok new problem. in the Republishing config . When editing RTMP republish rule the 'source stream' box has the info * leave blankfor wildcard'. but when you do you get a red warning that source can not be blank? Please help as this is the last piece of the puzzle with using wildcards!

For the latter case, please make sure you leave the destination stream name as blank too.

"For the latter case, please make sure you leave the destination stream name as blank too."

Is there a way to have a wildcard for the source but specify the output?

what do you want to have as the result ? you cannot specify many inputs and one since output for all of these as each input need to have it's own output.
