Hi Manny,
Nimble is not yet capable of that. You may try Wowza instead and use WMSPanel for streaming reporting.

Is there a roadmap for when RTSP is coming? We redistribute from axis cameras directory using Wowza currently but are looking for alternatives.

Hi Emmet,
We don't have due dates for it yet. However, you can do some basic transcoding from RTSP to RTMP via ffmpeg and then have Nimble transmux it into HLS easily.

Can you do this on the same server as nimble? something like...
ffmpeg -rtsp_transport tcp -i rtsp://user:password@ipcamera:554/rtsp -vcodec copy -f flv -r 25 -s 1920x1080 -an "rtmp://localhost/rtmp"
Then pick it up with nimble?

Yes you can definitely do that. Moreover, you can use our tasks management feature set to control this command remotely via our web UI: http://blog.wmspanel.com/2014/10/server-tasks-web-management.html
