How to test failove with Nimbler Transcoder

Hi all,
I was read and configure fllow with your document, but i don't know how to test.

Step 1. I was create a template name is live
Step 2. I was added the primary and backup to MPEGTS Out with live application.
Step 3. I setup UDP Setting use UDP multicast with primary stream.
Step 4. I setup hot-swap setting
Original stream: live/primary
Substitute stream: live/backup
Step 5: i use vlc and play multicast udp (step 3) well, no problem.
Step 6: i stop the primary and wait some minutes but the hot swap not work, on the vlan can't play that multicast stream.
What is mistake in my case ?

Hello,
Please make sure streams setup in failover (primary and backup) are transcoded streams, not just input streams in MPEG-TS In/Out.
I'd also suggest to check playback via HLS first.
