How to reduce bandwith when stream is going via RTMP Rupblishing

jibran 2015-12-27 14:10:15 UTC in Nimble Streamer

I am getting streaming into nimble via http or RTMP Pull in so the quality of streams is high upto 2 to 3mbps which is very high so i want my streams to be in low quality when i make them output in rtmp republishing any idea of doing this process as i already talked with support and they dont have much idea so please help me soon

Nimble doesn't support transcoding now so you need to get your stream using external transcoding tool like ffmpeg and publish transcoded stream into Nimble

it's technically not possible without transcoding.
