What does that mean for NimbleStreamer

We saw it was announced by Apple recently and it sounds like a good news.

We plan adding support for fMP4 in HLS, but since this is not yet present in Apple products, there's no need to hurry up with that.

Hi, it has been 3 months and fMP4 for VOD MP4 is still not ready? Why? fMP4 has been in iOS for quite some time now and VOD Mp4 is so important.

you are absolutely right and nothing excuse us for this delay but we don't have this support yet unfortunately. We got a lot of work with fmp4 for live content and the rest of the features so we just haven't had enough time to implement this. Thanks for patience - we will implement it for sure.
