DVR cache gets recreated when deleting

I am trying to delete nimble cache in '/var/cache/nimble/dvr/application/stream' but after deleting the archive from both the server and nimble WPS panel. they get recreated automatically. this maybe causing other recordings not to happen. Do you have any pointers to resolve the issue?
