Create a multiview with the encoder

what would be the best way to create a mosaic or multiview with the encoder?

Looking at the encoder we have the feature to overlay on top of another image or video. what would be the best way to create a multiview. 4 input multiview is basically 4 resized video overlayed on one null input or transparent image. ffmpeg can do something similiar https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Create%20a%20mosaic%20out%20of%20several%20input%20videos

At the moment, we cannot provide a stable solution for the Mosaic scenario, unfortunately.
It is possible to make 4 overlays, and it will work, but as one of your input streams disappear, the whole Transcoder's output will be unavailable.
You may try to Hot-Swap the inputs, but we not tested it.
