2. Supported Features
Service Provider (SP)-Initiated Authentication (SSO) Flow - this authentication flow occurs when the user attempts to log in to the application from WMSPanel.
User Federation, role management, etc. are not supported. Users and their WMSPanel roles will still need to be managed from the WMSPanel settings page.
3. Configurations Steps
- Contact WMSPanel support to enable Okta SSO integration for your account.
- In Okta, Go to Applications -> Browse App Catalog, and search and add WMSPanel.
- Assign the users or groups that should be able to log into WMSPanel.
- Go to WMSPanel App -> Sign On tab and note of the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Go to WMSPanel Settings -> Security and save following information into "Okta integration settings" section:
- Okta Domain (looks like https://mydomain.okta.com)
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Go to WMSPanel Control -> Users management and enable login via Okta account for eligible users.
4. Logging Into WMSPanel Using Okta
Once the Okta SSO is setup, users of the WMSPanel account can login using Okta account:
- Go to WMSPanel signin page
- Click "Sign in with Okta" button.
- Enter the email address and click "Sign in with Okta" button.
- After redirecting to Okta login page, sign in using Okta account. In case of successful login you will be redirected to WMSPanel dashboard.
5. Notes
Each WMSPanel user can view and manage available login methods in the Settings -> Security.
